Planning a Wedding
When planning a wedding, there are so many things to remember and if one ball gets dropped, your entire wedding can be affected! Here is a start to your wedding checklist that can help you not forget a single thing. These are just the basics, so continue to add to your wedding checklist as you figure out the individual needs of your wedding.
1. Name Your Bridesmaids
This is the first thing you should do because they will help you with everything else from choosing your wedding dress to putting stamps on the wedding invitations.
2. Choose the Venue and Date, Send out Invitations
This is one of the most important parts of a wedding! You need to choose a venue that will work for you and your new spouse, fit all of your guests and offer all the comforts that you need for them such as adequate restrooms, areas for the kids to play safely if there will be children present, and lots of room for everyone to have a great time. Once you know where and when, get those wedding invitations sent out! Wedding invitations are the first clue your guests will get about the style and look of your wedding, so be sure that your wedding invitations reflect the overall look and feel that you’re trying to accomplish with the wedding.
3. Plan the Menu
Once you’ve got the wedding invitations sent out, it’s time to start planning the big day! Getting the right menu will be one of the biggest things in your budget.
4. Book the Professionals
From the person performing the ceremony to the band or DJ, once you’ve got the food panned out you need to book everyone for the big day. This should be done as early as possible if you want someone specific. Don’t forget flowers too! Talk to a florist early on about what’s going to be in season during the month of your wedding. Using in-season flowers will be less expensive and usually much better quality as well. This is also time to book the photographer, videographer and hair/makeup artists for the big day.
5. Choose the Attire
Choosing the wedding dress is the moment you’ve been looking forward to! But obviously, you aren’t the only one who needs something to wear that day. Be sure to remember to get tuxes for the men and bridesmaids dresses in addition to your fantastic wedding dress. Don’t leave out mom or your new mother-in-law either, and be willing to help them pick the perfect thing.read more news at http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cruislinecom/the-best-cruise-lines-for_b_7572880.html
